The Great Ronaldo

So twinkle-toes Cristiano Ronaldo is in the rumour spotlight once again, this time thanks to the ill(?) advised words of an individual who should know better - Real Madrid director Pedro Trapote.
The best thing about this story is the reaction of Sir Alex Ferguson . The Manchester United manager evidently thinks the Real board are a less than honest, and it is reassuring to see him back to his old ways.
With the transfer window edging open, Real Madrid have of course picked their moment carefully before causing further furore. Many Man Utd fans expected hostilities between the two clubs to wait at least until after Christmas; Real Fans meanwhile have an arrogant belief that the moisturising Portuguese winger is theirs whatever happens.
How ironic would it be for circumstances to get in the way, for Cristiano Ronaldo to never to play for Real?
Personally I don’t see what the fuss is. I have Ronaldo in my fantasy football team and his scoring so far this season has been disappointing…

Ronaldo is the Prem’s donkey, in more ways than one.
He’s the guy the media can bank on copy-pasting/making up a story about and guarantee some attention. Used to be Henry, and before that Cantona…
Who knows what’s really going on any more?
