Newcastle United stand-in coach Joe Kinnear has really done himself nor the club any favours following his recent press conference that saw him unleash a barrage of curses and insults at the gathered press representatives.
Apparently, the little fella swore 52 times.
Newcastle fans must live in a state of permanent bewilderment at exactly where there club is going to go next, lurching as it does from insane crisis to insane crisis with little time to breathe.
It all stemmed from reports that Kinnear turned up to conduct a training session last Monday only to discover that the first team squad had been given the day off. Not so, says Kinnear, and off he went with the swearing.
However - Newcastle United are second bottom in the English Premier League, and it’s now October. Given the transfer value and wage bill of the players and their dire performances so far this season, exactly why are they getting time off?
Forget the swearing, Geordie fans - ask yourselves why your boys aren’t training harder.
